KQED

When San Francisco’s legendary public radio enterprise wanted to strengthen the connections between select podcast creators and audiences in an effort to grow them strategically, they came to EA1. In the summer of 2019, we implemented a series of six in-person work sessions onsite with their teams for KQED main, KQED Science, Mindshift and The Bay. We led the various teams through EA1’s tried and true listening and iterating tactics, setting them up to deeply engage with both their local and national followers across platforms, as well as giving them the tools to define what it means to be a brand on social.

These teams were looking to truly connect with people across traditional and new media landscapes so they could curate the kind of social experience that would turn listeners into fans and fans into advocates. We provided curated tips, tricks, and our proven methods for healthy, engaging community development and management. At the end of the summer, with our help, these teams were able to develop bespoke strategies, execute on tactics, create a replicable process, and had grown in confidence.
